Safety Audit "Pending Photos"
D
Dominic Vendittelli, CSP
My associate has completed four audits this week using the SiteSpecs app on his Android phone. Two were processed successfully, but the other two show as "Complete" while appearing as "Pending Photos" on the project checklist upload list.
I wanted to check if there is anything preventing these site audit reports from being processed and whether this issue can be resolved.

Hello Dominic Vendittelli, CSP, Alex Schultz-Spradlin
We apologize for the inconvenience.
Could you please provide more details about how the uploads were performed?
- Did you complete all four Safety Audits and then upload all four from the To Do List one after another?
- After tapping Upload, did you place the app in the background?
- When you reopened the app, did the uploads appear to be complete?
- At any point, did you tap Cancel and then start the uploads again?
This information will help us investigate the issue further.

I don’t believe the upload is available anymore.
From our conversation, Alex mentioned that the audit showed upload completion and then immediately disappeared. Will we need to start over and resubmit the audit report?

We apologize for the inconvenience.
It appears that some of the photos were not fully uploaded. As a workaround, we can generate the two checklist PDFs without the missing images. You can then use the Site Specs web version to add the missing photos, as the web version includes an Edit option for completed checklists.
If this solution works for you, please let us know and we will proceed.
Thank you.

Can we keep this in mind as an option moving forward? To keep the safety inspection report dated to last week, I assigned myself new checklists and completed them with the images and notes sent to me by my associate.
I will have to ask Alex about the specifics about how these checklists were uploaded, but this issue has happened to me in the past while using an Android phone. Essentially, while uploading from an android phone, if the screen goes dark, or you switch between apps while the uploading is in progress, and upon re-openning the Site Specs app, you discover the upload has reached 100%, it has a 50/50 shot of uploading correctly.
